The Asplenium nidus (Birds Nest Fern) is a stunning feature plant that is regularly seen in the shaded Australian garden. The common name derives from its large, nest-shaped rosette of light-green, slightly leathery radiating fronds and its ability to grow on trees due to is shallow root system.

Watering: Asplenium likes well moist soil. Water once or twice a week depending on tempereature.
Light: Good indirect sunlight.
Soil: Well-drained soil.
Fertilizer: Use a balanced liquid or dry fertilizer once in a month.
